iGaming

The iGaming report is designed to generate analytics, providing insights into the metrics crucial for your business (e.g., NGR, GGR, Registration to Deposit ratio). This report simplifies the process of configuring columns, offering pre-defined settings for easy setup.

The streamlined approach of the iGaming report not only saves your valuable time and effort, but also helps you to focus on your essential business activities. With the help of it, you can make data-driven decisions fast and efficiently.

The report is extremely useful when used together with the Event report. Affise recommends using it for gambling.

💰 The feature is available only for certain plans. Contact your Affise account manager to get it.

Overview

To find the iGaming slice, go to Statistics > iGaming. First, you need to set up this report:

Select the goals which you want to include in your report. The report will show the conversions with these goal titles. In the Commission field, specify the commission percentage.

🔎 You can change this setup later by clicking the Reset report button.

After filling it, you can see the iGaming report:

1: general filters for specifying the data you want to see statistics for. With the Based on filter, you can base the report on the following entities:

  • Month

  • Week

  • Day

Also, you can use the Group By option for better understanding and analysis of the data. It breaks down the statistics by various additional parameters, which allows you to have several reports within one page. You can group data by the following entities:

  • Hour

  • Affiliate

  • Advertiser

  • Country

  • User ID

  • Custom fields

  • Subs

2: buttons for setting up custom columns, scaling your report, and resetting it.

Set up custom columns

💰 The feature is available only for certain plans. Contact your Affise account manager to get it.

🔎 You can add custom columns in Statistics > iGaming or in Settings > Content > Custom columns.

To set up a new custom column, do the following:

  1. Click Set up custom columns and then Add custom column.

2. Optional. Select the Add to Dashboard toggle, if you want to add the metric to the Dashboard.

🔎 You will see this metric in the Dashboard section:

3. Optional. Select the Add to Affiliate Dashboard toggle, if you want to add the column to the Affiliate Dashboard (to select the toggle, first enable the Add to Dashboard).

4. Optional. Select the Enable in affiliate panel toggle, if you want the column to be visible in the affiliate panel.

5. In the Column type dropdown list, select the type of the column (Number/Percent/Currency).

6. In the Title field, enter the title of the column.

7. Optional. In the Available metrics section, you can select the needed metrics:

  • Conversions amount

  • Conversions revenue

  • Conversions payout

  • Conversions earnings

  • Conversions afprice

  • Hosts

  • Clicks

  • Ad costs

🔎 The process of adding metrics is the same as in the Advanced events report. Read more about it here.

8. Optional. In the Available operations, use the needed operations:

In the Formula field, the system shows the formula preview.

9. Click Create.

After creating a column, the system adds it to the Custom columns table:

where:

  • Title: the title of the column.

  • Enabled in affiliate panel: if the column enabled/disabled in affiliate panel.

  • Enabled in dashboard: if the column enabled/disabled in dashboard.

  • Enabled in affiliate dashboard: if the column enabled/disabled in affiliate dashboard.

  • Created at: the time of the column creation.

You can also see added custom columns in general iGaming table, in which:

  • When you change the Based on filter after adding the needed metric columns, the system recalculates the data in real time.

  • You can delete the metric column by double-clicking the column title, or by clicking the Settings sign and the Delete column button.

  • You can show or hide certain metrics from affiliates, by using the Enable in affiliate panel checkbox.

⚠️ The system pulls goals from the list in Settings > Goals. Deleting the goal, which is a part of the formula, requires deleting the corresponding metric column in the Advanced events report. If the goal is deleted from the Goals list, the column can no longer pull it.

Right after you add all the needed metrics, the system shows you a personalized report.

Peculiarities

Since there are no restrictions on the grouping settings, you may encounter these cases:

  1. You select the following Group by settings: Affiliate > Custom field 1 > Country with the clicks values:

In this case, the system will define clicks for the first and the third slices, but not for the second one. There will be no filtering of clicks by the second level values. The sum of clicks on the third level will be equal to the sum of clicks on the first level.

The table will be set like that:

Subs, custom fields, and user ID don't filter clicks and consequently corresponding slices. Affise recommends avoiding setting up slices with clicks after slices for which clicks are not defined.

  2. Because subs, custom fields, and user ID don't filter clicks, the system shows the value "0" in the CR columns of the corresponding slices.
