Add an advertiser

There are different ways of advertiser profile creation in the Admin panel. The first way is to create an advertiser profile on your own via UI. The second way is to let the advertiser register in Affise. The third way is to import advertisers profiles.

Add an advertiser

Manual creation

  1. In the Advertisers section.

  2. Click the New advertiser button.


  3. Fill all the fields on your own. See the list of all fields.

  4. Click Save.

Set up an advertiser profile

You can see three tabs: General, Additional, and Caps.

General

1. In the Company field, enter your advertiser's name or the company name.

2. In the Password field, enter the password or click Generate password to create it automatically.

3. Optional. In the Email field, enter your advertiser email. It is used to send the credentials to your advertiser.

⚠️ Avoid using the user e-mail in advertiser profile settings.

4. Optional. In the Contact person field, enter your advertiser contact person.

5. Optional. In the IM/Skype field, enter your advertiser IM/Skype.

6. Optional. In the Manager field, assign a manager to your advertiser by using the drop-down list.

7. Optional. In the Site field, enter your advertiser site.

8. Optional. In the Address 1, Address 2, City, Country, Zip code, VAT code, enter your advertiser location information.

9. Optional. In the Enabled affiliates drop-down list, select the affiliates you want to enable.

10. Optional. In the Disabled affiliates drop-down list, select the affiliates you want to disable.

Additional

1. Optional. To the right of the Secure postback field, click the Generate button. If you generate the password, advertiser postbacks without this password are zero-filled and not counted.

2. Optional. In the Tags drop-down list, select tags to group your advertisers.

⚠️ Allowed symbols: a-z, A-z, 0-9, from 2 to 32 symbols overall. All advertisers can have up to 300 unique tags. You can't add two same tags for one advertiser. But you can add the same tag for the advertiser and the offer, or the advertiser and the affiliate.​

3. Optional. In the Note field, enter your notes.

4. Optional. In the Allowed IPs field, enter the allowed IP for the postback from the advertiser. Add several IPs by using a comma, or add IP range by using a hyphen. Click the Add Appsflyer's server IPs button to add all IPs of this platform if needed.

5. Optional. In the Allowed sub-account 1, Allowed sub-account 2 fields, enter sub accounts to whitelist them. Write one or more values delimited by a comma for the filter sub account. To block sub accounts, select the Block checkbox below the field.

⚠️ Allowed symbols: a-z, 0-9,._-{}+=/:~

6. Optional. In the Click validation drop-down list, select Appsflyer or Kochava.

7. Optional. Select the Consider personal targeting only checkbox to allow checking only personal targeting groups. Read more about Targeting group selection.

8. Optional. Click the Send hosts only checkbox if you want to send only unique clicks to the advertiser tracking URL. In this case, the advertiser gets only unique clicks.

⚠️ If the feature is invalid, it means it's enabled on a higher level (the Settings level).

💰 The feature is available only for certain plans. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.​

9. Optional. Select the Forbid the affiliates from changing the postback status (for all the offers of this advertiser) checkbox to forbid the affiliates from changing the postback status for all the offers of this particular advertiser.

10. Optional. Select the Subaccounts encryption checkbox if you want to encode real sub account values. In the Advertiser profile, the system depicts them as unclear values. You can view encrypted values in the following slices of Statistics: Custom, Conversions, detailed statistics on clicks.

💰 The feature is available only for certain plans. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

11. Optional. Select the Hide conversion's status, declined reason and comment for advertiser' checkbox to hide conversion status, declined reason and comment in the Statistics in the advertiser profile. They don't see general Statistics for conversions statuses.

12. Click Create.
