Before you begin
On Affise, you can use the Trafficback URL to redirect traffic that doesn't match the targeting restrictions in your offer. You can check such traffic and the exact reasons in Statistics > Trafficback.
To resolve the issue of sending clicks to trafficback due to different reasons, follow the guide below.
Invalid offer, Invalid affiliate
If you face these similar reasons, do the following:
Note that the offer ID and affiliate ID on Affise contain only numbers.
Check for which offers and affiliates you set up integration at the time you got clicks in trafficback.
Ask your affiliate to give you the Affise tracking URL in the way it is installed on the affiliate side to check the values.
🔎 If you see such reasons in the statistics, note that you do not lose the real traffic.
Unknown offer, Unknown affiliate
If you face these similar reasons, the offer ID or affiliate ID is in the correct format. To resolve the issue, do the following:
For Unknown offer, check whether your offer was deleted, and who deleted it in Offers logs.
For Unknown affiliate, check whether your affiliate was deleted and who deleted it in the Users activity log.
If you can't find the info in the logs, the offer or affiliate with such ID didn't exist on Affise.
Inactive affiliate, Inactive offer
If you face these similar reasons, do the following:
For Inactive affiliate, check the current status of the affiliate in Affiliates management. In Users activity log, check when and who changed the affiliate's status.
For Inactive offer, check the current status of the offer in the offers list. In Offers logs, check when and who changed the offer status.
🔎 If your offer is paused for some time and a lot of traffic is still coming, set up a trafficback URL to monetize it.
Disabled affiliate
In case the system sent clicks to trafficback for this reason, do the following:
You can connect affiliates to the offer if you want them to send traffic.
You can check whether your affiliate was disconnected from the offer or the advertiser in the Users activity log.
If you use the automation tools, check their block logs.
Overcap
If the system sent clicks to trafficback for this reason, try the following tips:
In Offers > a certain offer > Caps, check the type of caps you have. It can be possible that you need to change caps.
Check whether you set up notifications for affiliates that cap is reached.
🔎 If your caps are reached, and a lot of traffic is still coming, set up a trafficback URL to monetize it.
Non-unique clicks, Duplicate Clicks Threshold
When the clicks come to trafficback due to their non-uniqueness, do the following:
If you want to get all clicks, not only unique ones, turn off the Send hosts only and Duplicate Clicks Threshold anti-fraud options.
If you keep getting a lot of non-unique traffic, analyze the partners that send this traffic.
