To optimize your performance on Affise and get traffic of higher quality, use a set of anti-fraud tools. These tools allow you to get real clicks and increase your earnings.

The tools block or send to trafficback all the clicks that don't suit your settings.

Click-level anti-fraud

Click-level Anti-fraud is an Affise detection tool that helps reduce fraudulent traffic by filtering proxy traffic. A proxy is a server that acts as an intermediary between a user and a target server. Some of them are legal, and the tool helps understand whether an IP address associated with a transaction belongs to a real user or a legal proxy IP address.

💰 The Click-level Anti-fraud feature is available only for certain plans. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

The tool is located in Offers > a certain offer > Targeting groups.

When you activate the checkbox, the setting blocks proxies that are known to be problematic based on the global Digital Elements database. Enabling this feature does not ensure all proxy traffic blocking.

Restrictions by sub accounts

Sub account values are additional data that you may receive from your affiliate. If you feel that some traffic is suspicious, you can block or allow sub account values that your affiliates pass.

The settings exist on three levels: offer, advertiser, and affiliate.

In Offers > a certain offer > Targeting groups, you have the following options:

  • Allowed sub accounts: you can allow some of the sub1 - sub8 values you get from an affiliate offer tracking URL.

To block the values, select the Exclude checkbox.

To check the format of the sub account, select the Regexp checkbox.

💰 Targeting Sub Regexp is available by request. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

  • Sub 1 and sub 2 restrictions: you can block certain pairs of sub1 and sub2 values you get from an affiliate offer tracking URL. If an affiliate sends only one sub account, but not the whole pair, the system doesn't block it.

  • Block traffic if empty: you can block traffic if the chosen sub account is empty when you get a click from an affiliate offer tracking URL. If you add several sub accounts into one line, they all should be empty to block traffic.

In Advertisers > a certain advertiser, you have the following options:

  • Allowed sub account 1: you can allow or block certain sub1 values received from all affiliates connected to all advertiser offers.

  • Allowed sub account 2: you can allow or block certain sub2 values received from all affiliates connected to all advertiser offers.

In Affiliates > Affiliates Management > a certain affiliate, you have the following options:

  • Allowed sub account 1: you can allow or block certain sub1 values received from a particular affiliate via affiliate tracking URL.

  • Allowed sub account 2: you can allow or block certain sub2 values received from a particular affiliate via affiliate tracking URL.

⚠️ You can indicate sub account values with the following symbols only: a-z A-Z, numbers 0-9, and these symbols -,._{}+=/:~

Duplicate clicks threshold

Duplicate Clicks Threshold is a tool that allows controlling the number of non-unique clicks, which the offer accepts. As a result, you get fewer conversions based on non-unique clicks.

💰 Duplicate Clicks Threshold is available by request. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

The tool is located in Offers > a certain offer > Targeting groups.

The example: if you set up five clicks, it means the offer accepts the first unique click and four following non-unique clicks from a certain affiliate. The system blocks all clicks over the threshold.
