Affiliate postback sending

There are two types of affiliate postbacks on Affise: global and local.

  • Global postback URL: sent for a conversion across all offers an affiliate is enabled for.

  • Local postback URL: sent for a conversion per specific offer a affiliate is enabled for.

The system manages an affiliate global postback sending by the conversion statuses (approved, pending, declined, hold) and the type of integration (all, default, Probabilistic Attribution).

Affiliate local postback sending is managed not only by conversion status and the integration type, but also by goal value - all offer goal values or specific ones.

⚠️ The system sends affiliate postbacks for the conversion statuses selected in Settings > Affiliates > General > Conversion status in Affiliate panel's statistics.

Affiliate postbacks are triggered to be sent in case a local or global postback matches conversion settings.

Consider global postback

Consider global postback is an additional option you can use. If a conversion doesn't match a local postback status, type of integration and/or the goal, the option forces the system to check the configuration of the global postback.

You can use the option on the affiliate level (Affiliates > Affiliates management > a certain affiliate).

Also, you can enable the option on the platform settings level (Settings > Affiliates > General).
