Before you begin:

To attribute clicks and conversions correctly, you are to set up a tracking link and postback links for install and events (if needed).

Set up a tracking link

  1. To get a tracking link, do one of the following:

    • Go to Applications > a certain application > Partners > a certain partner, and copy the link in the Click tracking link field.

    • Go to the Partners section, find the partner in the table, and copy the needed link in the Tracking URL column.

⚠️ Click_id, pid, and platform are mandatory parameters.

2. Update the link with additional parameters if necessary.

3. Send the link to your partner.

Custom tracking domains

If you want to use a custom tracking domain, you can leave a request on it in the Custom tracking domains section.

To do that, go to Attribution > Custom tracking domains, click Create, and enter the name of the domain.

The system adds your domain to the domains list in the Moderation status.

Add a tracking link to the Affise offer

If you work with Affise Performance, you are to set up an Attribution tracking link in your Affise offer.

  1. Insert the link in the Tracking URL field.

  2. Change the value after the &pid parameter into the {pid} macro.

  3. Update the link with additional Attribution parameters and Affise macros to pass more information if needed.

🔎 When you set up the tracking link, continue with regular S2S integration on Affise.

Set up a postback link

Get a partner postback

To get a partner postback for installs, go to Applications > a certain application > Partners > a certain partner.

When an install happens, the postback is triggered, and the conversion information is sent to Attribution and Affise statistics.

Add conversion types

Besides default install postback, you can set up separate postbacks for conversion types (in-app events) if necessary. The full list of conversion type and events correlation you can find here.

To add a conversion type, do the following:

  1. Click Add conversion type in Applications > a certain application > Partners > a certain partner.

  2. Select the event in the Conversion type drop-down list.

⚠️ If you work with Affise Performance, the conversion type you select should be the same as the goal in your Affise offer.

3. Insert a postback link for your event.

⚠️ If you work with Affise Performance, you are to take the default postback and add the &goal=goal_value. Read more about goal tracking on Affise.

4. If the link contains additional parameters, update them with Attribution macros.

5. Indicate the cost.

6. Click Save changes.

⚠️ You can add only one link per conversion type.

Add a client postback

If you want to pass conversion information to some third-party system, you can add a client postback.

To do this, add your postback link to the Partner Postback field in Applications > a certain application > Partners > a certain partner.
