Before you begin

Goal (events) tracking

Goal tracking means the tracking of events a user undertakes while on a website.

This type of tracking is used to identify visitor behavior and measure traffic flow for specific goals.

Examples of events include: making a transaction, making a purchase, registration, subscription, etc.

Affise provides the simplest way to track additional goals (events) and post-install events sent by your advertisers. Once you create an offer and add payouts for different target actions, you can add goals (events) in the offer settings.

You can set goal (event) values directly in the Offers > a certain offer > Payouts.

Goal value: a mandatory field. It’s a value to specify target actions (events) at the level of the advertiser postback. The system passes the goal value via the advertiser postback within the goal parameter.

⚠️ You can use only digits (1-9), letters (a-z, A-Z), underscores, spaces, dots, and dashes in the Goal value field.

💰 It is possible to use 0 as a goal value. The option is available by request. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

Goal title: an optional descriptive field. It's used to name a goal value you select.

You can add, edit, and delete different goal titles in the Settings > Content > Goals.

Once you add a goal title, it appears in a drop-down menu in Offers > a certain offer > Payouts.
