Cross-postback URL

Cross-postback URL is an additional link that helps you send conversion information to any third-party place. The feature is perfect for e-commerce and VAS.

The option is located in Offers > a certain offer > Tracking.

  • To work with cross-postback, enter the link into the Cross-postback URL field.

  • Update the link with the macros if necessary.

The system triggers the cross-postback URL not only when Affise registers a conversion but also when its status changes. For example, if you received a conversion in the Approved status and later it was changed to Declined, the system sends the cross-postback twice.

⚠️ The system sends the cross-postback for three conversion statuses: Approved, Declined, and Pending.

You can send the postback via both GET and POST methods.

Cross-postback in Statistics

In Statistics > Cross-postbacks, you can find detailed information about the cross-postbacks.

where:

  • Postback URL: a cross-postback link that the system sends based on the offer settings.

  • Conversion ID

  • Affiliate: Affiliate (ID) Name.

  • Offer: Offer (ID) Name.

  • Goal: conversion goal value. There is no validation on the goal value case: if the conversion has the "Install" goal value, and you set up the cross-postback for the "install" the system sends it.

  • Status: conversion status.

  • Payouts: conversion payout. You can set and update it in Offers > Payouts.

  • Revenue: conversion revenue. You can set and update it in Offers > Payouts.

  • Currency: conversion currency.

  • Notice: conversion comment message.

  • HTTP code: the server response. If Affise cross-postback reached the server of the 3rd party, you can find HTTP code 200 in the column. If you see any other HTTP code (e.g., HTTP code 403, HTTP code 204, etc.), recheck the settings of cross-postback on your side.

  • Error: the error message that you can see when there was an unsuccessful attempt to send a cross-postback to the third-party server. When you have an error message, recheck the settings of cross-postback on your side. If the server doesn't show any error text, the system doesn't display it in this column.

  • Date: date and time when the system sends a cross-postback URL.

To add and hide columns in the table, click the Edit columns button.
