Tipalti is a reliable global partner payment automation system, which is available for all Affise clients. Tipalti’s solution transforms your payment process into a lean financial operation that scales rapidly and works smarter just in a few clicks.

Integration with Tipalti
To integrate with Tipalti, do the following:
Contact Tipalti Team directly to get your account.
Login to your Tipalti account.
Go to the Administration section and click the Integrations.
Click the API keys tab and copy your Master key:
Switch to your Affise platform, and in the Marketplace section, select the Tipalti plugin.
Check the Enable checkbox to start integration.
In the Payer name field, fill in payer’s name.
In the API key field, enter the API key you generated earlier in your Tipalti account in the Master Key field (step 3).
In the Payment term id field, enter the id from the list of payment terms in Tipalti system: Administration > Bill settings > Bill payment settings.
Now you’re ready to proceed with a payment generation from your Affise platform.
Affiliates authorization in Tipalti
Once you successfully integrated with Tipalti and are ready to proceed with the payments to your affiliates, the affiliate needs to do the following:
In the Affiliate’s panel > Profile > Tipalti, click the Create Tipalti profile button.
The affiliate can see that the system created the profile.
Click the Specify payment details button.
The system redirects the affiliate to the Tipalti profile, where they specify all the requested details:
⚠️ Affiliates can update their profiles on the Tipalti side by using the Specify payment details button on their Affise profiles.
When all the steps are done, and the system authorizes the affiliate on Tipalti, you can generate payments.
⚠️ If an affiliate integrates with Tipalti, at least one payment system must be added in Profile > Settings > Payment system in order for the system to generate invoices. Read more about it here.
Sending payments to Tipalti
To make a payment to your affiliate, do the following:
On Affise, go to Billing > Affiliates.
Generate a payment for a specific affiliate for a chosen timeframe, and check the generated payment. Read about generating billings here.
Click the Send to Tipalti button to send the payment to Tipalti.
The system sends your payments to Tipalti.
What is next
In your Tipalti account, you can check the payments you send earlier from your Affise platform. To do that, go to Payments > Payment history:
When payment reached Tipalti, a user with "payment approval" rights needs to approve or decline it. If you want the system to approve it automatically, submit a related request to Tipalti Support Team via [email protected].
Payment statuses can be updated to the following on your Affise platform:
Sent to Tipalti: the system sent the affiliate’s payment to Tipalti and awaits the Tipalti response. This status appears once the affiliate uses the Submit to Tipalti button.
Waiting payment Tipalti: the system sent the affiliate’s payment to the bank and awaits the bank’s response. This status appears once the payment has Pending Funds or Submitted statuses in Tipalti.
Completed: the bank successfully processed the affiliate’s payment. This status appears once the payment has Paid status in Tipalti.
Declined: the affiliate’s payment was declined because of some reason, which you can see in the Note field on the Affise side. This status appears once the payment has Canceled, Cleared, or Deferred statuses in Tipalti.
Reasons for payment’s rejection can be different and caused by various reasons: incorrect payment details, lack of payment method, lack of the needed sum on Tipalti’s balance, etc.
⚠️ On the Affise side, the system correlates the payment statuses with Tipalti’s ones every hour and updates if needed.

If the Affiliate's profile indicates an unauthorized country (e.g., Cuba), the affiliate will have a message 'Create Tipalti profile failed' when creating the Tipalti profile:
