Affise provides you with a built-in notification system that helps you to communicate with affiliates through mass email updates. You can tailor your messages to specific groups of affiliates based on tags, offer access, and status, ensuring that each communication is relevant and impactful. The feature allows you to dive deeper with enhanced filtering, choosing recipients by specific offers or custom fields for ultimate customization.

💰 The Outbound emails feature is available by request. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

Outbound emails

To work with outbound emails, go to Affiliates > Outbound emails:

After adding an email, you can view the table with the following columns:

where:

  • Email subject: the subject of the email.

  • Status: the status of the email:

    • Sent: the email is sent to all selected affiliates.

    • Sending: the system is sending the email.

    • Draft: the email is in draft.

    • Failed: there is at least one failed sending to the affiliate.

🔎 You can see the Failed status in several cases. The error may be on the Affise side or on the SMTP server side (it's sending email for too long, it doesn't respond or password and username doesn't match). Go to the Error logs to figure it out.

  • Audience: the number of recipients to whom the email was sent.

  • Opened: the number of recipients, who opened the letter.

  • Actions: you can send the email which is in the Draft status, view, edit, and delete it.

🔎 Keep in mind permissions:

  • If in the Affiliates editing permissions Write/Read is set, you can send emails to all the affiliates who are found via filters, excluding the affiliates in the Deny list.

  • If in the Affiliates editing permissions Deny is set, you can send emails to the affiliates in the Write/Read lists.

⚠️ Currently, you need to use a third-party SMTP server for this feature.
