Shopee is the leading e-commerce online shopping platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan. It provides customers with an easy, secure and fast online shopping. If you work in the e-com vertical, the integration with Shopee is a great help for your affiliate program. The integration helps to pull conversions from Shopee to Affise to get all your statistics in one place.

Integration with Shopee

To work with Shopee, do the following:

  1. To enable the plugin on the Affise platform, go to Marketplace > Shopee.

  2. In the Domain field, enter the following domain:

  3. Get the app ID and secret from your Shopee account. Without this data, the integration will not start, and the conversion import will not work.

  4. In the App ID, and Secret fields, enter the data you got in the previous step.

  5. In the Update frequency (Hours) field, specify update frequency in hours.

  6. In the Lookback period (Days), specify the number of days in the past, from which conversions from Shopee will be pulled on the first sync.

🔎 For example, you specified 20 days and today is the 21st day. Starting from the 1st of the current month, all conversions from the first sync will be pulled.

6. In the Fields map, map parameters by matching the Affise postback parameters with the Shopee parameters.

🔎 Keep in mind the following peculiarities:

  • The system creates conversions via postback, so the parameters names are taken from postback. For example, if you want to pass the sum of some item, you need to specify in the sum the parameter in Shopee that contains this information (e.g, itemTotalCommission).

  • Shopee does not have public documentation for affiliates. So, to get a list of parameters, you need to log into your Shopee account and go here. The parameter names should be the same as in the Shopee article.

  • It’s mandatory to pass Affise click ID in the tracking link to the utmCampaign parameter: utm_campaign={click_id}.

  • The status parameter is default, you can't change it.

  • For each order ID / item ID combination, the system creates a new conversion in Affise.

7. Click Save.
