Adblockers block the data: solutions

When working on Affise you may face some visual issues. For example, some UI elements aren't shown properly. It may be caused by the extension for Ads blocking: AdBlock, AdGuard, and so on. This article describes how to manage the extension settings so that you can work on Affise efficiently.

If you have some ad blocker, the following message appears:

⚠️ If you have some additional plugins or services (especially, VPN-services) for your browser, it can influence the visibility of this message even if all ad blockers are turned off.

AdBlock

Google Chrome

To set the ad blocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

Plugin menu

  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the AdBlock icon.

  2. In Pause on this site, click Always.

  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the AdBlock icon and then click Options:

    If you have only the default domain for the Admin panel, proceed to step 2. If you have custom domains for the Admin panel, proceed to step 5.

  2. Go to Customize > Stop blocking ads > Show ads on a webpage or domain.

  3. Add your domain for the Admin panel to the field according to the template and the protocol you use:

    http://your_domain_for_the_admin_panel/

  4. Click OK!

  5. Go to Customize > Manually edit your filters.

  6. Click Edit.

  7. Add your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel according to the template:

    @@||your_domain_for_the_admin_panel/*^$document

  8. Click Save.

Safari

To set the adblocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

  1. In the top bar of the browser window, click the AdBlock icon.

  2. Click Pause.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the browser window, click the AdBlock icon.

  2. Go to Safari > Safari Extentions > Adblock > Ad blocking > Allow ads on a site > Manage:

  3. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one and click Add Website:


  4. Click Done.

To set the ad blocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the Adblock Plus icon.

  2. Move the toggle to the left.

  2. Click Options.

  3. Go to the Allowlisted websites section.

  4. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one and click Add website:

Safari

To set the ad blocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

1. In the top bar of the browser window, click the Adblock Plus icon.

2. Select Disable on this site option.

2. Click the Open Adblock Plus button.

3. Go to the Allowlist section.

4. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one.

AdGuard

To set the ad blocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the AdGuard icon.

2. Move the toggle to the left.

  2. Click Options.

  3. Go to the Allowlist section.

  4. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one and click Save:

Safari

To set the adblocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the browser window, click the AdGuard icon.

  2. Disable Enabled on this website checkbox.

  1. In the upper-left corner of the browser window, click the AdGuard icon.

  2. Click the Settings icon.

  3. Select the Filters tab and go to the Allowlist section.

  4. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one and click Save:

uBlock Origin

To set the ad blocker, you should perform some actions in the plugin menu and in the plugin settings.

  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser window, click the uBlock Origin icon.

  2. Click the following button:

  2. Click Options.

  3. Go to the Trusted sites tab.

  4. Enter your default domain and all your custom domains for the Admin panel one by one.

  5. Click Apply changes.
