User Management

On the User Management page, you can create and edit accounts for managers that work with your Affise Admin panel. Moreover, you can also grant access to your managers only to a specific type of data or prohibit to view some particular sections.

Users Permissions

Use Case #1

New Affiliate manager by default has “Write access” to Affiliates editing - means that the Affiliate manager may view and edit all Affiliates in the Affiliate management section, and has access to the next sections: Dashboard, Statistics, Smartlinks, Affiliates, Tickets, Billing, News, Export except Advertiser section and Offers section:

❗If you want your new Affiliate Manager has access only to some sections (ex. Dashboard, Affiliates, Tickets, Billing, News) you need to select particular sections in 'User edit page' - > 'Sections' Tab:

You can also adapt the user permissions for yourself. Let's look at a few cases on how to create new Affiliate managers with different permissions and accesses.

After login, a new Affiliate manager will be able to see all sections except the Advertiser section and will be able to look over all Affiliates in the Affiliates section (with all statuses, with/without managers, his/her Affiliates and others), will be able to sign in every Affiliate, will be able to assign Affiliates to himself/herself or other managers, as well as massively assign Affiliates to himself/herself or other managers, and look over statistics and edit all Affiliates:

❗ This permission gives the Affiliate manager access to all Affiliates' pixels. This means that an Affiliate manager can view and edit the pixels of all Affiliates.

Use Case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has:

  • access to all sections except the Advertiser section

  • possibility to edit one particular Affiliate, his/her Affiliates (Affiliates that assigned to this Affiliate manager), and the pixels of these Affiliates

  • possibility to view all Affiliates and Affiliates of other managers, and the pixels of these Affiliates

  • deny access to one particular Affiliate - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view or edit this particular Affiliate and the pixels of this Affiliate

According to such conditions, the settings of the new Affiliate manager will be the following:

  • 'Read' access to all Affiliates and Affiliates of other managers - means the possibility only view all Affiliates and Affiliates of other managers аnd the pixels of these Affiliates, but new Affiliate manager may edit his/her assigned Affiliates

  • 'Write' list gives the possibility to edit a particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

  • 'Deny' list excludes the possibility to view and edit a particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

Use Case #3

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has:

  • access to all sections except the Advertiser section

  • deny access to Affiliates editing - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view and edit all Affiliates in the Affiliate section and the pixels of these Affiliates and, but will have the possibility to edit his/her assigned Affiliates and the pixels of this Affiliate

  • possibility to edit one particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

  • possibility to view one particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

According to such conditions, the settings of the new Affiliate manager will be the following:

  • 'Deny' access to all Affiliates - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view and edit all Affiliates in the Affiliate section but will have the possibility to edit his/her assigned Affiliates and the pixels of his/her Affiliates

  • 'Read' list gives the possibility to view a particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

  • 'Write' list gives the possibility to edit a particular Affiliate and his/her pixels

Offers permissions

Use Case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has access to all sections and has 'Deny' permissions to Advertisers editing - means that the Affiliate manager has no access to Advertisers and Offers sections and cannot view and edit Advertisers and Offers, you need to save all default settings that provided by Affise system:

After login, a new Affiliate manager will not be able to see Advertisers and Offers sections and will not be able to view and edit Advertisers and Offers:

Use Case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has:

  • deny access to Advertisers editing - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to Advertisers and Offers sections but will have:
    possibility to edit one particular Advertiser
    possibility to view one particular Advertiser

According to such conditions, the settings of the new Affiliate manager will be the following:

According to such settings new Affiliate manager will have:

  • 'Deny' access to all Advertisers and Offers - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view and edit all Advertisers in the Advertisers section and all Offers in the Offers section but will have the possibility to edit and view Advertiser and his/her Offers from 'Read' and 'Write' lists

  • 'Read' list gives the possibility to view a particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

  • 'Write' list gives the possibility to edit a particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

Use Case #3

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has:

  • possibility to view all Advertisers and Offers

  • possibility to edit one particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

  • deny access to one particular Advertiser and his/her Offers - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view and edit this particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

According to such conditions, the settings of the new Affiliate manager will be the following:

  • 'Read' access to all Advertisers and Offers - means the possibility only view all Advertisers and Offers

  • 'Write' list gives the possibility to edit a particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

  • 'Deny' list excludes the possibility to view and edit particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

Use Case #4

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has:

  • possibility to edit all Advertisers and Offers

  • possibility to view one particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

  • deny access to one particular Advertiser and his/her Offers - means that the Affiliate manager will have no access to view and edit this particular Advertiser and his/her Offers

According to such conditions, the settings of the new Affiliate manager will be the following:

Statistics Permissions

All affiliate managers statistics

Use Case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager to have 'Deny' access to All affiliate managers statistics but has 'Read' access to his/her Statistics and assigned Affiliates, you need to save all default settings provided by the Affise system. Go to the 'User edit' page - > 'Permissions' - > 'Statistics' - > 'All affiliate managers statistics':

After login, a new Affiliate manager will be able only to see his/her Statistics in the Statistics section and assigned Affiliates.

❗ If you want your new Affiliate Manager to view not only his/her Statistics and assigned Affiliates, but also other Affiliate managers and Affiliates, you can use the 'Read' list.

Use Case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has 'Read ' access to All affiliate managers statistics - means the possibility view Statistics in the Statistics section for all Affiliates, but has no access to particular Affiliate manager(-s) and Affiliates Statistics, you need to set 'Read' access to All affiliate managers statistics with the 'Deny' list:

After login, a new Affiliate manager will be able to see all Statistics in the Statistics section, but will not be able to see particular Affiliate manager(-s) and Affiliates from the 'Deny' list.

All account managers statistics

Use Case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has 'Read' access to All account managers statistics - means the possibility view Statistics in the Statistics section for all Advertisers, but has no access to a particular Account manager(-s) and Advertisers Statistics, you need to set 'Read' access to All account managers statistics with the 'Deny' list:

After login, a new Affiliate manager will be able to see Advertisers Statistics in the Statistics section, except for the account manager and his/her Advertisers from the 'Deny' list.

Use Case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has 'Deny' access to All account managers statistics, but has 'Read' access to a particular Account manager(-s) and Advertisers Statistics, you need to set 'Deny' access to All account managers statistics with the 'Read' list:

After login, a new Affiliate manager will be able only to see Account manager(-s) Statistics in the Statistics section and Advertisers from the 'Read' list, but will not be able to see all advertisers Statistics.

Affiliates stats

Affiliates stats' permission regulates the visibility of the 'Affiliates' statistic slice.

Use case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager to have access to the Affiliates statistic slice, you need to save all default settings provided by the Affise system. Go to the 'User edit' page - > 'Permissions' - > 'Statistics' - > 'Affiliates stats':

Use case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has no access to the Affiliates statistic slice, you need to set 'Deny' access to the Affiliates stats:

Advertisers stats

'Advertisers stats' permission regulates the visibility of the 'Advertisers' statistic slice.

Use case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has access to the Advertisers statistic slice, you need to set 'Read' Access to the advertiser's stats:

Use case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager to have no access to the Advertisers statistic slice, you need to save all default settings provided by the Affise system. Go to the 'User edit' page - > 'Permissions' - > 'Statistics' - > 'Advertisers stats':

Affiliate manager stats

Affiliate manager stats permission regulates the visibility of the 'Affiliates managers' statistic slice.

Use case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has access to the Affiliates managers statistic slice, you need to set 'Read' Access to the affiliate manager stats:

Use case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager to have no access to the Affiliates managers statistic slice, you need to save all default settings provided by the Affise system. Go to the 'User edit' page - > 'Permissions' - > 'Statistics' - > 'Affiliate manager stats':

Account manager stats

Account manager stats permission regulates the visibility of the 'Account manager' statistic slice.

Use case #1

In case you want your new Affiliate manager has access to the Account manager statistic slice, you need to set 'Read' Access to the account manager stats:

Use case #2

In case you want your new Affiliate manager to have no access to the Account manager statistic slice, you need to save all default settings provided by the Affise system. Go to the 'User edit' page - > 'Permissions' - > 'Statistics' - > 'Account manager stats':

Settings permissions

Affiliate manager by default has "Deny" access to Settings section permissions - means that the Affiliate manager does not have access to the ‘Settings’ section:

In case you want your Affiliate manager has “Write access” to Settings section permissions - means that the Affiliate manager has access to the ‘Settings’ section and can perform necessary actions within this section, you need to set the next settings in the 'User edit page' - > ‘Permissions’ - > ‘General’ - > ‘Settings’:

❗ Only the General manager has access to the User edit page.

Marketplace permissions

Use Case #1

Affiliate manager by default has "Read" access to Marketplace section permissions - means that the Affiliate manager has access to the ‘Marketplace’ section, but cannot perform any actions in this section, only browse the list of plugins and each plugin separately, you need to set next settings in the 'User edit page' - > ‘Permissions’ - > ‘General’ - > ‘Marketplace’:

Use Case #2

In case you want your Affiliate manager has “Write access” to Marketplace section permissions - means that the Affiliate manager has access to the ‘Marketplace’ section and can perform necessary actions within this section, you need to set the next settings in the 'User edit page' - > ‘Permissions’ - > ‘General’ - > ‘Marketplace’:

Use Case #3

In case you want your Affiliate manager has "Deny" access to Marketplace section permissions - means that the Affiliate manager has access to the ‘Marketplace’ section, but cannot perform any actions in this section, only browse the list of plugins, you need to set next settings in the 'User edit page' - > ‘Permissions’ - > ‘General’ - > ‘Marketplace’:
