Account Creation

There are three ways of advertiser's profile creation in the Admin panel. The first way is to create an advertiser's profile on your own via UI or via API. The second way is to let the advertiser register in Affise, so his profile will be added automatically upon registration. The third way is to import advertisers' profiles: it may suit you if you just moved to Affise from other tracking solution.

Manual creation

Go to Advertisers -> Advertisers, click New Advertiser.

You need to fill all the fields on your own. Here you can see the list of fields.

Advertiser's registration

To enable this opportunity, go to Settings -> Advertisers -> Registration and select the Registration flag:

When the flag is enabled, you can go to Advertisers section.

Click Registration link, and the link to the registration form is copied to the clipboard.

The link's example:

If you use the custom domain, the link contains the custom domain.

You can share the link with the advertiser, who would like to have a profile in Affise. Once the advertiser follows the link, he gets to the registration form (registration page).

Once the advertiser fills in all the forms and clicks Create account, his profile appears in the list of advertisers in the Admin panel. He will be redirected to the Sign in page.

❗ If the email, entered by the advertiser in the registration form, is already used by another advertiser or a user, the profile won't be created.

You also observe the Sign in button. You can sign in as an advertiser and check what he actually sees.

It is possible to see the date and time of the advertiser's registration in the Registration date column. If the Registration option was turned off before, the data in the Registration date column for that period stands for the creation of the advertiser's profile manually by a user. The date and time is shown according to the time zone of the Admin panel.

You can set up a notification on the advertiser's registration. Go to Notifications -> new notification. Set up the Advertiser Registration type.

If the Registration option is disabled in Settings, the advertiser, who would like to create a profile, will see the following:

Advertiser's import

If you're moving to Affise from another tracking solution, Affise Import option may help you to create a great number of Advertisers' accounts just in a few clicks. Find out more about the Import procedure here.

Advertiser's profile

You see two tabs:

Go to the General tab and fill the form:

  • Company - Mandatory field. It is your Advertiser's name or his/her company name.

  • Secure postback code - Optional field. Protection against conversions cheats. If the password is generated, Advertiser postbacks without this password will be zero-filled and not counted.

  • S2S (Postback) - Your Affise S2S Postback.

  • Contact person - Optional field. Your Advertiser contact person.

  • IM/Skype - Optional field. Your Advertiser IM/Skype.

  • Manager - Optional field. You can assign a manager to your Advertiser with the help of the drop-down list.

Please avoid using the user's e-mail in Advertiser's profile settings.

  • Tag - you can group your advertisers by adding a tag to them. Allows symbols: a-z, A-z, 0-9, from 2 to 32 symbols overall. All advertisers can have up to 300 unique tags. It is not possible to add two same tags for one advertiser, but you can add the same tag for the advertiser and the offer or the advertiser and the affiliate. You also can check Statistics by using of tags - check this article to know more.

  • Note - Optional field. You can enter here some notes.

  • Allowed IPs - Optional filed. You can enter here allowed IP for the postback from the Advertiser. You can add several IPs by using a comma or add IP range by using a hyphen. You also can press 'Add Appsflyer's server IPs' button to add all IPs of this very platform if needed.

  • Allowed sub-account 1, Allowed sub-account 2 - Optional fields. You can whitelist or blocklist chosen sub-accounts. Write one or more values delimited by a comma for the filter sub-account. Available only: a-z0-9,._-{}+=/:~

  • Consider personal targeting only - when the offer has general and personal targeting groups, click when coming checks firstly the personal one, then the general one. This flag allows checking only personal targeting groups. Here you can find more information about this option.

  • 'Send hosts only' option allows you to send only unique clicks (i.e hosts) to the Tracking URL of the Advertiser so the Advertiser will get only unique users. The feature is available upon the request.

  • Forbid the affiliates from changing the postback status (for all the offers of this advertiser) - Optional checkbox. You can enable it to forbid the Affiliates from changing the postback status for all the offers of this particular Advertiser.

  • When the Subaccounts encryption option is ON, the system shows only encrypted sub values in the Advertiser's profile in Affise. They don't see real values, but you see in Statistics. You also can view encrypted values in the following slices of Statistics: Custom, Conversions, detailed statistics on clicks.

⚠️ The Subaccounts encryption is available by request. Contact your Affise account manager to get the feature.

  • Hide conversion's status for advertiser option hides conversion's status in Statistics in the Advertiser's profile in Affise. He doesn't see general Statistics per conversions' statuses:

Advertisers' data export

You can export your advertisers by using this button:

Choose the needed flags (columns you would like to export) and press 'Export' button:

There is an opportunity to create a preset for the Export table. It is useful when you usually export the same data (like only ID, company and manager of the advertiser).

See the GIF below:

You can delete the preset by clicking on the 'Delete preset' button.

1) Why is 'Send hosts only' option invalid in the Advertiser's edit page?

'Send hosts only' option of a higher level have more priority over the subsidiary 'Send hosts only' option of lower level/-s following the hierarchy (from the top priority to the lowest one) : Settings level → Advertiser level → Offer level. If you enable 'Send hosts only' option of a higher level, the system will leave 'Send hosts only' subsidiary options of lower level/-s in a disabled state and do not allow changing its settings. At the same time, if you disable this option of a higher level, the system will restore 'Send hosts only' subsidiary options of lower level/-s in an enabled state.

2) I can't delete the advertiser. What is wrong?

If the advertiser has at least one offer regardless of its status, you can't delete the advertiser. Please delete the offer or assign it to another advertiser firstly.

3) How can I share access to Admin panel for the advertiser?

Here you can learn more about both ways of sharing access.

4) Can I create an advertiser via API?

You can manage your Advertisers via API as well:
